Humber Valley Resort is located on the west coast of the island of Newfoundland, Canada, on the northern bank of the Humber River and Deer Lake.
Deer Lake Airport (YDF) has direct flights to St Johns, Newfoundland (YYT), Halifax, Nova Scotia (YHZ) and Toronto, Ontario (YYZ). The airport is served by most major Canadian air carriers and connections are also available to Montreal, Quebec (YUL).
To get from Deer lake Airport to the Humber Valley Resort, turn right onto the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH) heading west towards Corner Brook. Your 20-minute drive on the TCH will bring you through Deer Lake and Pasadena. Take Exit 11 from the TCH. At the bottom of the exit ramp turn right and follow the road signs to the resort.
If you are flying into the area for your vacation, we advise you book a rental car well in advance of your arrival. The peak seasons are in summer and winter and sometimes the demand for vehicles often exceeds supply. The regional service centre, Corner Brook, is 20 minutes drive west of The Resort and many of the places you would visit will require a vehicle.
Humber Valley Resort is located just off the Trans Canada Highway at Little Rapids, between Corner Brook and Pasadena. If you approach the Resort from the east or west, take exit 11from the TCH and follow the road signs to the resort.
The Marine Atlantic ferries at Port aux Basques provide transportation across the Gulf. The terminal is about 2.5 hours’ drive west of the Resort. Travel the TCH from Port aux Basques to Corner Brook. About 20 minutes past Corner brook toy will see Exit 11, which will bring you to the Resort.
